There are various types of diagrams that are used by the analysts. I am an active user of a number of diagrams like the data flow diagram, use-case diagram, sequence diagram, class diagram, and also collaboration diagram.
To make a coherent approach, I prefer to merge diagrams and give better perspectives.
Q2. What does OLTP stand for? What is its use?
It stands for Online Transaction Processing. OLTP helps in the data entry, and processing for data management, and interpretation into the database.
Q3. Name the documents you use the most and why?
I use a lot of documents, but a few are my favorite. I greatly deal with Functional Specification document Business requirement document, technical specification documents, use case diagram, Requirement Traceability Matrix, and so on.
I use the Functional Specification document as it helps me in designing the proves, and also for testing and coding.
Q4. Explain in your own words- INVEST?
Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Sized Appropriately, Testable (INVEST) consist of the elements for the entire process which helps in getting a high-quality product.
Q5. What do you understand by the Agile Manifesto?
It is the ultimate guideline that helps in developing better software. Agile Manifesto has 4 key elements, wherein individuals and interactions must get priority over the process and tools. The working software must be given the required importance over detailed documentation. It helps to stress the need for necessary changes rather than following a driven plan.
Q6. What is the use of Pareto Analysis?
Pareto analysis lets an analyst in effectively putting just 20% of work and come at 80% project completion. It is deemed to be very effective as a decision-making tool. Pareto analysis lets the analyst prioritize the tasks so that maximum benefit is obtained.
Q7. Give the key features of GAP Analysis?
GAP Analysis is utilized for giving address differences that are found in the performances between business information system and actual performances in terms of metrics. A GAP Analysis finds out the issues and is oriented towards a plan to rectify the issues.
Q8. Do you have any strategy to address difficult stakeholders?
I personally take note of difficult stakeholders and address their motivation. I always make it a point to discuss their problems as promptly as possible and find a worthy solution to it. The difficulties of the stakeholders should not be taken at a personal level or being referred to me, but always try to find the best way to resolve the impending issues.

As an analyst, fulfilling the requirements is the key element and the greatest responsibility. I do understand the need to fulfill the requirements, in the presence of adequate resources, and attain the goals. It is highly important to go beyond the requirements of the stakeholders, and for the overall effectiveness of the project.
Q10. What is understood by Application Usability?
Application Usability is the interaction between the user and a system that is seamless. It is regarded as the sum total of navigation experience of a particular user.
